We actually design, machine, finish, custom fit and assemble the precision products we offer in very limited edition, serial numbered quantities. These are 100% Made in the USA, made to near perfection, utilizing our micro-machining skills, watchmaker parts manufacturing and component fitting methods and processes.

We film our efforts and share them via our YouTube Channel, during that filming we share some of the machinery tools and other miscellaneous materials we actually use from other vendors when working in our Machine Shop, Workshop, Finishing Shop and Electronics Shop.
If you see a product from another supplier here in our store it is because it is the best money can buy and it is the best machine, tool, material or supply for the job, otherwise it would never be found for sale here.
SPECIALTY WATCHMAKER & MACHINE SHOP TOOLS - MADE IN THE USA (Coming in late 2019)
In the decades of being watchmakers, precision machinists and precision micro machinists, we have found the need to build specialty tools, often better tools that are not purchasable or being made to our quality standards for our own shop. This lack of high quality specialty tools has over the decades become a passion of ours for continually improving the Precision Machining, Work and Finish & Fitting Work here at Active Atom. It all starts with the best tools and skills for the job at hand.
OUR PRODUCT MANUFACTURING METHODOLOGY EXPLAINED
We have a way of thinking that we learned through the many years and multi generations of wristwatch, watch movement and timepiece servicing we performed and we feel our own products warrant this way of thinking as well. While we might call upon you to consider a purchase of one of our exclusively produced products, you actually will only be a caretaker for this product that is fun and fascinating to share at the same time.
What we mean is, we have had a fair share of timepiece customers over the decades that have passed their very personal timepieces down to their children, grandchildren, relative or close friend. For example, a younger relative whom has began to come of age and desiring the passion for the finer things, they have admired from afar for most their lives thus far, it was during one of these changing of the guard moments that we realized, for this customer of many years (and for our own selves, hence the working museum idea) that when these finer keepsakes, built so well when maintained correctly, they are going to outlast many generations to follow. So we wanted to build our product, one that can both be built to last and still be relevant as times change going forward and be worthy of these time honored changing of the guard events.
That wristwatch transfer day is where this caretaker concept came to be and we wanted it to stand for our first product and the ones that follow as well. Product design engineering, fit & feel, purpose and of a true meaning, these are equally important to us here at Active Atom, where we often work with machinery and tools that are well taken care of by the two of us and the caretakers that came before us. These vintage masterpieces of great workmanship often out-date us by a quarter, half and even a full century of continual and reliable work production, so we get this important topic very well.
